Data Retention & Deletion

While you're a customer

Your documents and extraction results stay available for as long as your subscription is active, or until you delete them yourself.

After you cancel or request deletion

Active copies of your content are deleted within 30 days of cancellation or a deletion request, and isolated backup copies expire within 90 days after that. Export anything you want to keep before that window closes.

A note on our AI provider

Documents are processed using Anthropic's commercial API, which ordinarily retains input and output for up to 30 days from processing, with limited exceptions for safety or legal review. SwiftTrail does not use your content to train AI models.
