SwiftTrail's first customers are property management firms, and rent rolls are the document we extract most. That's where we're focused today. It's not where we intend to stop.
One engine, not one template
A lot of "document extraction" tools are really just a template matched to one exact layout — change the format and they break. We built SwiftTrail differently: the extraction engine understands the structure of a document, not a fixed template for one specific form. That's what lets the same underlying technology work across the many different rent roll formats property managers actually send us, instead of needing a new template for every owner's spreadsheet export.
It's also what makes expansion possible without starting over. A new document type, or a new industry entirely, is a matter of teaching the system what to look for — not rebuilding it from scratch.
What that means for you
If you're a property manager, it means SwiftTrail should keep working as the documents you deal with change, instead of becoming one more brittle tool that only handles the exact cases it was built for.
If you're in a different industry altogether and you're reading this because someone forwarded it to you — we'd like to hear from you. We're actively deciding which document types and industries to support next, and customer requests are the biggest input into that decision. Contact us and tell us what you're dealing with.
